How many attempts are allowed for JEE Advanced?

I appeared for JEE Advanced last year but could not qualify. Can I give it again this year? What is the maximum number of attempts allowed?

JEE ExpertExpertJEE Advanced allows a maximum of 2 attempts in consecutive years. So if you appeared last year (Year 1), you can appear again this year (Year 2). But that would be your final attempt. There are no exceptions to this rule.
